Nvidia make the best gaming graphics cards in the business. Their cutting-edge technology brings the latest games to life, so when they want to make a marketing statement, they need to go big. That’s where we come in – they know our skills can match their ambition. We work closely with the team at Nvidia to create jaw-dropping product influencer packs, the most recent of which was a replica of an in-game supply drop from the multi-million selling game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, designed to deliver NVIDIA’s latest flagship graphics card and Night Vision Goggles direct to online gaming influencers for review. 130 crates, each one personalised to the recipient, delivered worldwide. Game on.
We knew this had to be nothing short of awesome, so we took it to the next level. We custom built a life size crate that was designed and finished to look battle worn. With this template in place, we could design and measure the inside for the custom equipment fitting and use the model as a visual guide to get the final production look just right.
We then made the production pieces from Re-board®, a uniquely strong and versatile rigid paperboard. Its engineered fluted core allows it to be cut and folded into any shape imaginable. Using HP technology, we printed direct to substrate which allowed us to create a truly convincing visual representation of the in-game prop.
This was one of the most successful marketing campaigns we have ever been involved in. It was the perfect combination of off and online marketing that allowed us to really flex our creative (and technical) muscles to produce a knock-out item. The result? 130 physical items ended up generating more than 8.8 million video views via social media streams. That’s a high score in our book.
