Ergéa

Overview

Ergéa is one of the market leaders in the Managed Equipment services (MES) space working with the NHS and the private health sector in the UK. Ergéa was formed through the acquisition of two market leading medical service companies: Althea UK and Medipass Healthcare. The acquisition required a uniformed rebranding process to make a statement and presence in their market. Once the brand concept was established, this is where Chroma’s support was enlisted.

Actions

For a company headcount that now surpassed 400 employees in the UK and Europe, it was pivotal to work closely with the Ergéa team to efficiently showcase their new brand identity.

Phase one was a focus on their offices and employees. Ergéa has three main UK sites and other centres located with NHS premises. With a strict launch date Chroma began on the office interior and exterior signage. This spanned across many different substrates from vinyls, foamex, acrylic and dibond. Our goal was to make sure their corporate branding pantone and CMYK colours were maintained throughout the process across the different print processes and across varying substrates. Our installation teams were used across the three main sites (Theale, Harlow and Southend) with additional signage going to other UK locations.

At the same time, the focus was also on the employees. Culture change is always difficult, so supporting Ergéa to help their employees feel like they were all valued members of the new team was key. We got to work on uniforms from polos and fleeces. With a unique blue to work with we spent countless hours sourcing the correct fleece style and colour, with multiple samples and meetings along the way with the Ergéa marketing team, eventually finding the perfect garment. All of which were stitch embroidered in the newly orange Ergéa branding. All of these were kitted by our team and sent to both office and home locations throughout the UK.

Continuing to work on their internal brand cohesion, we also worked on their promotional goods for internal and future external events. These included, pens, mugs, notebooks, umbrellas and other such items. As well as this, we worked on their internal stationery documents, all whilst keeping brand consistency front of mind.

Results

The launch was a huge success with all sites branded on time and employees feeling like they were being carefully taken along with Ergéa on their new journey. Being located very near to their head office allowed for us to work closely on their rebrand project with multiple meetings including weekly update meetings. The team at Ergéa were also extremely collaborative allowing us the freedom to be trusting in our judgements along the journey the entire way.
